Erect signage and make alterations to a development currently under construction (approved under Reg. Ref. SD02A/0688). The alterations consists of relocating the entrance door from the location approved to a more central location facing the car park, and to provide a new entrance door, display windows and 3 no. associated illuminated display signage panels, 2 no. being size 2.7 metres long x 2.7 metres high and 1 no. being 2.5 metres long x 1.3 metres high, at the new location. The development will consist of the following to amalgamate Units 1,2,3 and 4 into one retail unit, to incorporate the east pedestrian mall (271sq.m) into this one retail unit, to relocate toilets and baby change area, to remove the management store and incorporate into retail space, to extend retail area into adjoining external pedestrian circulation space by 401sq.m, to provide new doors and shopfront display windows and to relocate canopy over entrance doors and provide new glazed shopfront over extension into east Rotunda, all at ground floor level. The development also includes removing and relocatng plant at first floor level, extending retail floor area by 949sq.m. over existing ground floor level and by a further 414sq.m. over ground floor extension, to replace staff and storage area, all at first floor level. The gross floor space of the development is 3724sq.m. and of the retail unit is 2856sq.m. It is also proposed to provide new fire escape corridor between Units 4 and 5 and new widened escape staircase and service corridor from the first floor of new enlarged single retail unit.
