The proposed development comprises a 130 bed nursing home and creche facility in a single building on 5 levels over basement (totaling 7277.45sq.m gross floor area) and incorporating the following: 130 bedrooms with en-suite facilities, associated ancillary accommodation consisting of living and dining rooms, assisted bathrooms, sluice rooms and storage facility on ground to fourth floor levels and administrative, office, reception, nurses station and boardroom accommodation at ground level; at basement level it is proposed to provide office accommodation, consultant rooms, lecture, storage, laundry and kitchen facilities alongside all ancillary support accommodation and plant rooms; an independent creche incorporating separate access and reception, sleeping room, WC and laundry facilities, play room, nursery, common area, kitchen, changing areas, toddler rooms, all ancillary support accommodation and an external play area all at ground floor; access to the development is proposed via an internal access road connecting to the existing roundabout on Fortunestown Lane. Permission is sought for internal access roads, parking (51 spaces) and connection to services and all associated signage, landscaping and ancillary site development works.
