Vehicular access to the underground car park is provided off Boot Road, a fire brigade access is provided from Commons Road. Provision is made for 63 bicycle spaces in the basement. Open space for the development is provided with a landscaped rear courtyard including a children's play area and perimeter landscaping to Fonthill Road and Commons Road and private open space for the residential units is provided by balconies or terraces for 100 no. of the residential units with 3 no. units at first floor provided with French doors and balustrade. The site area to which this application relates is 4,621m.sq. In conjunction with the proposed development the creation of a new urban space on the corner of Boot Road and Fonthill Road and the widening and landscaping of the existing Commons Road are proposed, both lands of which are in the ownership of the County Council.
