M, providing 9 classrooms, student/staff toilet facilities on the ground floor, with a further 9 classrooms, staff room, administration office and a plantroom located on the first floor, including a lift and 2 stairs, car parking/set down areas, with associated site landscaping works. Construction of a single storey temporary prefabricated style secondary school building for Gaelcholáiste an Phiarsaigh secondary school. The development will be retained for a period of 5 years. The development will provide 5 general classrooms, 4 specialist classrooms, toilet and other ancillary facilities. Associated site works will include widened on site road with parking and set down area, drainage connections and soakway, new watermain connection, widening of the existing vehicular entrance access gates and new pedestrian access gate opening off Dispensary Lane, site landscaping, all located on the grounds of Loreto Abbey, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 (A protected structure RPS No. 252 & 253).

To facilitate the opening of a post primary school to accomodate up to 40 pupils & 10 staff. First floor: General removal of later kitchen/storage type fixtures and fittings from the rooms. Construction of temporary partitions to the stairs and corridors to restrict access to certain parts of the building, construction of a screen to protect the Spanish leather wallpaper in room 02. Minor renewal/repositioning of service outlets in the rooms, installation of a sink unit in the staff/admin room, new lighting, repainting walls/ceilings and joinery items, inserting a disabled WC into the existing toilet area on the south west side, reinstating toilets into the existing toilet block in the later extension on the north east side. Second floor: Repair the existing toilets in the later extension on the north east side. Externally: Construct an enclosing fence to an external area on the east side, alter the existing carparking area on the west side to form a play area including an enclosing fence.

Modifications to previously approved mixed residential and commercial development at the Loreto Abbey site (Reg. Ref. S00A/0554; PL00S.125554 and S00A/0554/EP) which included for the permission for a change of use of Loreto Abbey "Georgian House" protected structure from the existing established institutional uses to a 102 number bedroom nursing home (8,471sqm); this included the change of use of lower ground floor of the chapel from ecclesiastical use to nursing home use, the remainder of the chapel was not affected by the permitted development and the addition of five extensions to the existing building (to accommodate the nursing home), comprising a new lobby, two number stairwells and a lift shaft, a three storey glazed link, and a second floor glazed extension, all totalling 653sqm. The modifications to the permitted development comprise: 1) The provision of a new three storey extension (1,637sqm) to the north of the existing complex including removal of existing two storey corridor link between the Georgian house and St. Annes building in lieu of previously approved entrance lobby and two sets of stairs and five separate extensions establishing a well functioning circulation link at each floor level between the Georgian house, the St Annes building and the gymnasium resulting in an increase of 11 bedrooms from the previously permitted 102 bedrooms to a total of 113 bedrooms. 2) revisions to the previously approved nursing home internal room layout in the Georgian house, Church, Concert Hall, Gymnasium and building known as St Annes to upgrade and improve the nursing home accommodation to bring it in line with currant and future industry best practice.

Amendments to Grange Road Part 8 (between Beaufort Downs and Tara Hill Road) including: 1. Continuation of the cycle tracks through the full length of the scheme. Advisory cycle tracks to be provided in the narrowest section. 2. Removal of three small areas of parking, one to the south of Beaufort Downs, the other north of Convent Road N and the other opposite Convent Road S, in order to maximise the footpath width in these areas. 3.
