The extension area includes 1,982m2 to the southeast (containing 6 no. primary composting tunnels, 1 no. air filtration area and 2 no. fan rooms) and 621 m2 to the northwest (containing 1 no. air filtration area, dispatch area and composting bays). The proposed development includes all associate site works above and below ground (car parking, road, concrete yard, storage room, surface water pipes and weighbridge). The existing facility has relevant EPA licence permissions (245-01) to increase volume from 10.000 to 20,000 tonnes per annum and permission is now sought to align with this licence.
