No. 05/2354 and 13/6122 the works seeking Planning Retention include: 1) retention of waste transfer and treatment facility and all associated development including retention of change of use of site and building (formally FF Polymers site), located to west of main facility site, from industrial to waste transfer and treatment facility use comprising part of the facility, 2) Retention of annual tonnage accepted at the facility at 24,900 tonnes per year. The works seeking planning permission include 1) Part-removal of existing precast concrete block structure within northern part of main facility site to facilitate the construction of proposed monopitch shed with an approximate gross floor area of 126 sq.mtr adjacent to the northern boundary of the main facility site, to provide for covered materials storage, 2) Construction within existing building on site located to west of main facility site, comprising of staff welfare facilities, reception area and offices with an approximately combined gross floor area of 62 sq.m at ground floor level and an approximate 62. sq.m gross floor area office above at new first floor level, 3) Provision of 26 no. car parking spaces within the site located to west of main facility site, to serve the facility site 4) Provision of stormwater attenuation tank and associated drainage and treatment infrastructure to cater for proposed car park concrete area on site located to west of main facility, 5) Amalgamation of 3 No. existing car parking spaces within the main facility site to provide 2 no. accessible spaces. 6) Proposed installation of 90 sq.m of photo-voltaic panels with an output capacity of 20 kW, 7) All ancillary site development works. The proposed development will require a review of the existing "waste facility permit" which will be sought through a separate application to Westmeath Co. Co.
