The proposed development will consist of a reduction in the overall number of dwellings permitted from 130 to 117 by way of the omission of 3 no 2.5 storey apartment /duplex buildings in the eastern part of the site and replacement of these with 2 no. semi-detached 2 storey dwellings identified as House Type A) to the south of the site entrance; 4 no. 2 storey semi-detached dwellings (identified as House Types A and C) to the north of the site entrance; 1 no. 2 storey detached dwelling (identified as Type A); and a 2 storey terraced block consisting of 4 no. 2 storey dwellings (identified as House Types A and B1) and associated reconfiguration of internal road and car parking layouts in the immediate vicinity. These include revisions to the internal access road in the south-eastern corner of the site comprising the omission of the turning area and cul-de-sac to provide for a fully connected internal street network at this location; the replacement of grouped parking spaces with in-curtilage car parking spaces to serve Blocks 3 and 4; the reconfiguration of the grouped car parking layout serving permitted blocks 20 and No. 27 to provide for parallel street parking to the front and side of these dwellings; the replacement of grouped car parking spaces serving permitted Block 28 with in-curtilage spaces to serve these dwellings.
