The construction of a residential development consisting of 72 no. residential units and all ancillary site development works. The proposed development provides for the construction of 48 no. dwelling houses comprising 16 no. 4 bedroom detached/semi-detached dwelling houses, 22 no. 3 bedroom semi-detached/townhouse units and 10 no. 2 bedroom townhouse units. The proposed development also provides for the construction of 6 no. 2-3 storey apartment/duplex buildings which accommodate 24 no. own door access apartment/duplex units (12 no. 1 bed and 12 no. 2 bed). The proposed development includes for the extension of the existing estate road network of Maple Drive and Maple View residential developments to the east of the site to facilitate access to southern areas of the proposed development while access to northern areas of the site will be provided via a vehicular site entrance from Convent Hill (L-2011). The proposed development also includes a separate pedestrian access from the Dunmanway Road (R586) to the south. Ancillary site development works include the provision of bicycle and bin storage facilities and the undergrounding/diversion of existing overhead lines.
