a renewable energy development with a maximum storage capacity of 596mw/h in a development of a Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) facility within a total site area of 2.08 Hectares. The Site will include 117 Containerized Battery Storage Modules with a height of 2.896m on Concrete Plinths, 60 DCLV Power Convertor modules on concrete Plinths, Access track, Associated Electrical Cabling, 2.4m High Palisade Security Fence, Security Gates, CCTV and Security Lighting System, MV Switch and Transformer Room and all associated site development works This development is covered by the provisions of the Renewable Energy Directive III (Directive (EU) 2023/2413) and it is important to note that the planning application may be subject to section 34D of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended. When a notice issues in accordance with section 34D(b), the provisions of article 26A of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 to 2025 shall apply. The Planning Application is accompanied by Ecological Impact Statement (EIS).
