Continuance of use of existing compost manufacturing facility

The proposed development comprises; a 325 sq.m extension to the rear of the existing composting building; new electrical room; the relocation of the bio filter plinth to the rear of the proposed extension; the demolition of an existing outbuilding; the upgrade of the existing composting building to include the reconfiguration of the roof profile from a ‘barrel’ pitch roof to an ‘A’ pitch roof and the recladding of the existing structure; upgrade of the existing site drainage to include a class1 inceptor, underground rainwater tanks and a new septic tank and percolation area. The proposed works will facilitate the existing composting building to maintain a consistent negative air pressure. The proposed development includes all ancillary infrastructure and landscaping. The proposed development will be subject to a Waste Facility Permit. A Natura impact Statement accompanies this application.
