The provision of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), compound and cable route on a site of c. 4.61ha. The BESS compound will accommodate self-contained Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries within 32 no. BESS units, 8 no. MV Switchgear units, and a 38kV substation including a control room of 126m2. A cable route of c. 2km is proposed to run south from the compound to the L2033 and east along the L2033 to the nearby Bandon 110kV Substation. The proposed development includes for all associated development, site levelling, boundary treatments, security fencing, site access works, ducting and cabling and all ancillary works.
