Amendments to the residential blocks G,H, and J of an approved mixed-use development including the retention of Protect Structures (Planning Register Reference S00A/0554 and An Bord Pleanala PL.06S.125554). The proposal comprises the construction of an additional 20 no. apartments (the total number of apartments for the combination of the permitted scheme and the proposed 20 no. apartments is 293 no. apartments) arranged in revised 2 storey blocks (Blocks G, H and J with an additional 15 no. car parking spaces in an extension to the approved basement under blocks C, D, E, F, G, H, J and K, by approximately 5 m. to the east, to facilitate a proposed additional 15 no. car parking spaces. The total car parking for the combination of the previously permitted scheme (473 no. spaces), and this proposal (15 no. spaces) is 488 no. spaces, of which 455 no. are in the basement and 33 no. are on the surface. All other elements of the scheme, including the works proposed to the Protected Structures are unaltered from the approved scheme. The revised element of the development relates to 0.192 hectares as part of overall site measuring 4.9 hectares approximately, at Loreto Abbey, (Protected Structure Ref. No. 28, South Dublin Development Plan 1998), Grange Road, Dublin 14 and partially bounded by Loreto Terrace to the north, Grange Road and Dispensary Lane to the west, Convent Lane and Loreto Primary School to the south and Stonework Abbey to the east.
