SDCC had previously recognised the shortfall historically of parking spaces. it was also noted at TRAC and discussed regularly in 2006 and 2007 by councillors and a solution was agreed to removing a strip of zoned open space and install publicly designated on - street car parking - the subject of this current Section 5 Application.

The proposed development shall consist of: 6 1-Bedroom 1 storey houses (2 person); 2 2-Bedroom Ground Floor Apartments (3 person); 2 2-Bedroom First Floor Apartments (3 person). The works include: Landscaping works to boundaries and all necessary associated ancillary works on the site and to adjacent areas including community room. The housing provision comprises of one storey terraced units and two storey terraced end units grouped around a central courtyard.
