Permission to erect photovoltaic panels on a ground mounted system. The development will comprise of a 5.00 MWp Solar PV Farm on 6.61 hectares of land located to the south of the existing Dairygold Co-Operative Castlefarm processing facility. The electricity generated will be used by the Dairygold site which currently operates under an IPC Licence issued by the Environmental Protection Agency Reg. No. P0404-02. The development will comprise of photovoltaic panels with ground mounted frames together with all ancillary cabling and electrical infrastructure; 1 no. transformer cabin; using all temporary ways and temporary construction compound / set-down area included on the application.
