Brian O’Connell and Meadbh Cannon seek planning permission for the following at their three-storey over basement home at 14 Carlton Mews, Shelbourne Avenue, Dublin D04 X3X4: a) a rear extension (9 sqm) at first floor level; b) a rear extension (8 sqm) at second floor level, including alterations to the roof profile and two rooflights and photovoltaic panels; c) lowering of the cill to the front dormer window, with localised modification to roof profile; d) alteration to the front entrance screen, including lowering of cill of sidelight . The works will be in conjunction with miscellaneous alterations, (internal and to the rear façade, ground floor), exempt from a requirement to obtain planning permission, accommodating a four-level passenger lift to permit accessibility to his entire home by a family member with permanent and severe physical disability.
