What happens next

The applicant, or anyone who made a submission on the application, can appeal the decision to An Coimisiún Pleanála within four weeks of 20 February 2024. If no appeal is lodged, the council’s decision stands and a final grant issues.

The development will consist of the construction of 2.99acres/1.21ha or 1.6MW of Photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames within a site area located to the south of the main production facility, associated ancillary cabling and ducting, electrical infrastructure, LV/MV Skid, transformer cabin and internal access tracks together with all associated site works.
