What happens next

The applicant, or anyone who made a submission on the application, can appeal the decision to An Coimisiún Pleanála within four weeks of 8 July 2026. If no appeal is lodged, the council’s decision stands and a final grant issues.

1) Construct 12 no. 1-bed chalets in lieu of 7 no. 3-bed chalets previously granted under parent planning application P21/67 2) Construction of new road connecting existing main car park to existing road leading to rear site entrance on L7379. Tarmac surfacing of existing road leading to existing rear exit onto L7379. 3) To construct overflow car park (33 spaces) to the rear of the existing main car park. 4) To construct a ground mounted 100 KW solar photovoltaic array. 5) Construction of 2 no. padel courts. 6) All connections to public services and all ancillary site works. The proposed development is located within the curtilage and attendant grounds of Drumhierny Lodge which is a Protected Structure (Leitrim Register of Protected Structures RPS No. 190).
