What happens next

The applicant, or anyone who made a submission on the application, can appeal the decision to An Coimisiún Pleanála within four weeks of 28 November 2024. If no appeal is lodged, the council’s decision stands and a final grant issues.

the erection and operation of a c. 1MW photovoltaic energy development on c. 1.65ha, which includes fixed panels on ground mounted frames, customer/ESB substation unit which will be connected to the national grid with overhead line, electrical transformers, inverters, switchgear, underground cabling and ducting, boundary fencing, security entrance gates, CCTV, internal access road and all associated ancillary activities.
