The proposed development involves the reconfiguration of existing car parking arrangements for the Block U building to facilitate an increase from 1no. to 2no. accessible spaces and an overall reduction from 28no. to 25no. car parking spaces in total. The proposed development will be served by 2no. existing covered bicycle parking stores together providing a total of 30no. bicycle parking spaces. Planning permission is also sought for the relocation of existing bins to a new bin store and collection area to the rear of the Block U building in the southwest corner of the subject site as well as all ancillary site services and site development works.

The development will consist of the continued use of a temporary surface car park to provide ancillary parking for ESB staff temporally located at the gateway building, East Wall Road, during the redevelopment of the ESB Networks headquarters offices for a period up to a maximum of five years.
