Log Cabin & Modular Home Planning Applications in Ireland
All 31 local authorities · past 3 years
Planning applications for log cabins, garden rooms, modular homes, and mobile homes across all 31 local authorities -- a register that is heavy with retention applications for units built without permission. Since 27 July 2026, a detached habitable garden dwelling of 32-45 sq m can be exempt from planning permission entirely under the new Class 3A rules (S.I. 340 of 2026), so the register captures the larger units, mobile homes (which remain excluded from the exemption), and projects that fall outside the conditions.
